About the Blog

I love sport, especially the more controversial aspects of it. I also love philosophy, so I set up this blog to provide some light philosophical analysis to some of the more controversial aspects of world sport. Though you don’t need to be a philosopher to read, on the contrary this is aimed at sports fans first an foremost. Though hopefully it will also fill a void in the highly lucrative Philosophy of Sport Blog market.

What qualifies me to talk about this stuff? Nothing really, but I am currently doing my Masters in Philosophy at Victoria University of Wellington focusing on sports ethics, my thesis topic is Should Oscar Pistorius be allowed to compete at the Olympics? Hopefully this blog will allow me to be more constructive with my procrastination.

Enjoy
